Photography
I have been a photographer for most of my life. I am old enough to have developed film in a darkroom back in the early 1970's. My pride and joy was my Nikon Photomic F3 with F1.2 50mm lens and a nice zoom to 300mm. I still have the body to that camera.
I had the first Kodak digital camera. Most people don't know that Kodak really developed digital photography but made a business decision to focus their energy on the film business. In hindsight, not the best choice. Since Kodak I have favored Sony. All the major brands have good cameras.
Cameras are important in photography but not nearly as important as understanding light and composition. Once I learned about camera principles, all the details, I was and am free to focus on composition -- the art of it all. The real test of a photographer is creating art with a simple box camera.
Good photos are a necessity for any design project.
I have long been in love with flowers and am returning to my old love now after a decade or more of being too busy with other aspects of life. I have an old website of my flower photos here at Floweringdreams.com
